Hi there!

I’m Lasya, a fourth-year student at the University of California, Berkeley, studying Cognitive Science, Data and Computing, and Design Innovation.

Growing up in New York, Singapore, and India, before moving to the Bay Area in 2021, I have immersed myself in various cultures throughout my life. These distinct environments have instilled in me the significance of adaptability, perspective, and empathy – all crucial skills that I've seamlessly carried into the realm of design.

I believe in using the human-centered design process as a medium to empathize with individual stories, and create meaningful experiences that enhance our quality of life. I’m driven by the people I encounter, the design of everyday things, and a desire to make others feel heard.

When I’m not designing, I love exploring different cafes and coffee shops, carefully curating Spotify playlists, upcycling thrifted clothes, and adding to my never-ending tote bag collection!
